Andrew started his insurance career at Lloyd’s of London before becoming an underwriter with a Munich Re company. In 2001 he was elected as an MP to the UK Parliament and served there for 23 years. During that time he was a Government Minister and a Prime Ministerial Trade Envoy to South Africa and Mauritius. He was also a trustee of a £10 billion global endowment fund for the Church of England. He now serves as an executive director of City and Commercial insurance group. He was honoured to speak at the Mumbai rendezvous in January on the subject of climate change and insurance.
